That 10% is heaven.

It feels so strange to be back on a regular sort of schedule for two blogs.

I must say I really missed TCoML, so I'm glad to be back.

Now that my exam is finished, there's nothing major going on, except that I decided to cut refined sugars our of my life as far as possible. Next week I'll be 90% sugar free for a month.

That 10%? I'm only human. Give me a break. ;-)

It's a lot less than I've eaten in a very very long time. And now I've found a new appreciation for chocolate, since it is now only something I eat when I REALLY REALLY REALLY feel like it. No longer do I munch on sweet things for no reason unless they're natural.

Current favorite healthy sweet things: Apples.

What interesting changes have happened in your life? Any interesting bits of news?

Since I cut out all "sweet" beverages, I love the taste of water. I didn't really expect that.

We trudged around Pompeii last summer in appalling heat - and water never tasted so good. It was the best thing in the world!

Recently I've been losing weight, about a lb a week. Lost two stone. Secret? cutting out beer and cheese. Simples.

Golden delicious are my favourites. I decided I wanted to get away from refined sugar a little while ago and bought a 1KG packet of unrefined brown sugar without looking at the price. Hmm, not a good idea, it tastes lousy and when I checked the slip it cost R28.00 per Killo.
Stick to apples.
You take care now and may God bless you, Geoff.

Good for you! Sweets are my weakness!

I'm fond of Granny Smiths, myself. I currently have the flu. Does that count as new or interesting? Thought not. I've got an agent helping me with my first fifty pages, which is both new, awesome and nerve-wracking. Hopefully all goes well on that score.

I spent 18 months in a sort of trance having cut out sugar, wheat and cheese and lost a stone and a half and looked like a bag of bones. Now I just watch it and adjust a few days at a time. it is cake that does it for me!!
